Many thanks go out to all our friends and customers who lent their prayers and support during my husband's recent life-threatening medical event. Thank you all for understanding that my first responsibility lies with making sure that he is safe and well-taken-care-of.  I try to keep the store open as often as possible, but sometimes things like this can't be helped.

We have renovated our teaching space and can now accommodate 20 students (lecture-style seating). If you have a class that you'd like to teach, please contact us either through Facebook or at 973-492-1974. Thanks!  If you've never taken a class here, it's a great time to try one!!

In conjunction with the renovated space, we are trying to expand the amount of space we have available to enable us to hold circles and larger events. To do this, we are having an on-going inventory reduction sale that includes some of our larger statues and altar pentacles among other things. There's something for everyone. We received notification this week that Dryad Designs is discontinuing wholesale sales at the end of May. That means stores like Off the Beaten Path will no longer be able to buy Dryad Design products to sell.  If there is something you have been wanting to get from the Dryad Design product line NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT!! If we don't have it, we can still order it as long as the item is not sold out at Dryad, and it is before May 25th. If we have to special order it for you, we will need a 50% deposit. These items are bound to sell quickly, so don't wait.

Everyone loves a deal. So when we were offered a great deal on a shipment of mine run tourmaline, we grabbed it. Then we found out how time consuming it was to sort it all and realized that it would add a significant amount of labor cost to the price. We quickly decided that this was not going to work since our original intent was bring you, the Off the Beaten Path customer, a great deal. So… we are offering these stones to you just the way we got them - multiple colors (black, green, amber, pink, blue, bi- and tri-colors), multiple sizes, various qualities scooped into a bag just as it comes out of the sack at in incredible price! We still have a supply of  therapy stones.  What's a therapy stone?  It's a polished stone in half-fist to fist size suitable for holding or placing under your massage table during meditation or healing sessions.  This shipment included star rose quartz, carnelian, polychrome jasper, blue calcite, labradorite, lapis lazuli, and tigeriron. We also have some large thick slices of carnelian.

Off the Beaten Path is offering both pre-made and custom meditation wands.  We start with a base of either clear quartz or selenite, then add stones for a particular intention.  The results are stunning and start at only $14.95 (prices will vary with size and stones selected).  If you want a truly unique piece, stop in and see us for a free design consultation.
